GANADO, Texas — Bassmaster Elite Series pro and Falcon Slam winner Keith Combs and BLV Enterprises are hosting the 2nd Annual KC's Bar Crappie and Bass Tournaments on Lake Texana June 1. All proceeds from the event and raffle will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The raffle following the event will include a grand prize of a trip to Lake Falcon with Combs. The trip includes $500 for travel expenses and a guide trip with the Falcon Slam champion.
"Falcon is the greatest bass fishing lake in the world," says Combs, "and anyone from a beginning angler to a regional pro would love a day on the water there. The best part about it is the tickets are $3 each or three for $5 for your chance to win, and the money goes to a great cause, the Wounded Warrior Project."
For Brian Vonderau of BLV Enterprises, the tournaments and raffle are a way to give back to the soldiers who have been hurt defending our freedom.
"We have a lot of fun at the event, and it's great for the town of Ganado," Vonderau said, "but most importantly we're raising money for an outstanding group of people. The Wounded Warrior Project is a great organization helping amazing people, and we're thrilled to contribute to that effort."
In addition to the trip with Combs, numerous other prizes are available. Tickets are $3 each (three for $5) and can be purchased on the event website or on Combs’ website. The raffle will be streamed live from the event on both sites.
