Pescitelli started fishing as a youngster. His father, Steve, is allergic to fish but has been by Pescitelli’s side supporting him in his passion from the beginning. And behind every good man is a good woman, and that would be Noah’s mom Patti.

There were grandparents, professional anglers and industry professionals on-hand that spoke about their experiences with Pescitelli. He absorbs everything, is patient, well-mannered, dedicated to the sport, good for Lake Lanier and beats adults in tournaments.

I asked Pescitelli what he thought were the keys to him receiving the scholarship. He replied, “My social media and marketing skills where I have 100,000 followers, and in my first year of competitive fishing I finished second in the State Championship missing the win by .03 ounce, and that qualified me for the National Championship.”

SCAD head coach Isaac Payne said, “Noah is a great addition to our varsity fishing team and will help build our team.”
