New York club cleans up 18 fishing areas

The Good Ole Boys Bass Club removed trash and picked up line for recycling.

Thirty members of the New York Good Ole Boys Bass Club hosted a cleanup at 18 different sites, collecting 40 bags of trash and 3 pounds of line. The club members, who dedicated 470 man-hours, went a step further from the usual cleanups that focus on debris at launching sites, trash and recyclable fishing line by replacing the fishing line recycling tubes at the most popular sites.

“Emptying and maintaining of the line recycling tubes were conducted at the same time the launch areas and fishing sites were cleaned up,” said Paul Hudson.
