Missile Baits looking for pro staff

Missile Baits, owned by Bassmaster Elite Series pro John Crews, is looking for anglers to become members of the company’s Bomb Squad.

SALEM, Va. — Virginia-based lure maker Missile Baits, which is owned by Bassmaster Elite Series pro John Crews, is looking for anglers to become members of the company’s regional pro staff, called the Bomb Squad.

The program, named after the Missile Baits D Bomb lure, is for any avid angler or guide who can promote the brand properly, speak intelligently and — of course — catch fish.

Missile Baits is accepting one- to two-page resumes from now until Oct. 30 at bombsquad@missilebaits.com.

The deal will include product, apparel, media exposure and potential bonuses. A limited number of spots are available on the pro staff.

“We have been very fortunate to have a great group of anglers all over the country represent the Missile Baits brand very well,” said Crews. “We have some tremendous anglers on our staff, including a Bassmaster Classic qualifier and many big regional event winners.

“Our anglers represent themselves well, and that is a reflection of how we try to carry ourselves at Missile,” Crews continued. “I think we should be able to add a few more anglers this year to complement our team.”
