How to follow the 2015 Bassmaster Classic

Whether you’re on-site or at home, there are so many ways to watch the Bassmaster Classic.

Being at the 2015 GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by GoPro in person isn’t the only way to keep up with what’s going on. Whether you’re on-site or at home, there are so many other ways to watch.

Bassmaster.com

How cool would it be to be IN the boat with every Bassmaster Classic contender? You can’t be in 56 boats at once, but watching the Live Blog on Bassmaster.com is about as close as you can get.

Competitors have Bassmaster Marshals or members of the press in their boats, and those companions keep you up to date by sending photos and updates from the water. They also submit each catch to BassTrakk, a real-time catch report with a leaderboard that updates all day long.

The Live Blog and BassTrakk are both at Bassmaster.com, as are videos from the water, called BassCam. B.A.S.S.’s professional photographers are out on the water, too, and they send high-quality photo galleries throughout the day.

Insiders of the sport will broadcast on Bassmaster.com from Bassmaster Classic Live, a new web show that’s housed at the Bassmaster Classic Expo presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods. The show will feature updates from the water as well as interviews within the expo.

During the weigh-ins, you can watch video of the weigh-ins live at Bassmaster.com, as well as keep up with the Live Leaderboard, so you can always see who’s in contention.

#bassmasterclassic

You can keep up all week by following the hashtag #bassmasterclassic on Facebook, Twitter, Vine, Instagram and Google+. Taking a selfie at the expo? Post your pic with the hashtag!

Photos posted with this hashtag will be broadcast throughout the expo and will be shown on Bassmaster.com.

Fantasy Fishing

Only 56 guys get to fish the Classic, but everyone can have a stake in it! Play along at BassmasterFantasy.com. Competitors in Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing have a chance to win a $2,500 gift card to Bass Pro Shops if they pick the best team for the Classic. Just be sure to set your team before the anglers launch on Feb. 20.

And the best part? It’s free to play.

From your phone

If you’re on-site at the Classic, you can access all of Bassmaster.com’s live features by downloading the Bassmaster News app in the iTunes or Android store. Fantasy Fishing is also optimized for mobile viewing, so you can check on your team at any time.

B.A.S.S. strongly encourages you to take photos and videos for your personal social media outlets on site and post them with the #bassmasterclassic hashtag.

So, whether you’re at home or at the launch, expo or weigh-in, there are plenty of ways you can tune in to see what’s happening. See you there!
