PITTSGROVE, N.J. — Bassmaster Elite Series pro Mike Iaconelli welcomes Greg Hackney and Bryan Bickell to his online, interactive show, Ike Live!, on Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. ET at www.mikeiaconelli.com.
Hackney is currently the leader in the race for the Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year title. Bickell is a left winger for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Last year, to celebrate winning hockey’s biggest trophy, the Stanley Cup, he took the trophy fishing with him.
Iaconelli will talk to Hackney about his spectacular year and his anticipation of the upcoming Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship, Sept. 18-21, on Michigan’s Bays de Noc. Bickell will discuss the demands, pressures and thrills of professional sports, and the three anglers will draw parallels between pro hockey and pro fishing.
In addition, Iaconelli and his friends — among them, pro angler Pete Gluszek — will answer fishing questions from fans who call in to the show or tweet him during it.
