With the 2015 Bassmaster Elite Series season right around the corner Gopher Industrial is excited to announce the company will be sponsoring Bassmaster Elite Series Professional angler Davy Hite. Hite, a native of South Carolina, has an impressive 20+ years of experience as a professional fisherman and is both a former Bassmaster Classic Champion as well as a former FLW Championship Winner.
Qualifying for the highly selective Bassmaster Elite Series is a major feat and represents a huge accomplishment for any professional fisherman. There are only 113 qualified anglers in 2015. Nevertheless, Hite has managed to qualify an impressive 14 times over the course of his career.
All told, Hite has participated in 237 tournament with 8 first place wins, 9 second place finishes, 2 third place finishes, 42 top 10 finishes, and 146 top 50 finishes. To put that in perspective, his total weight of bass caught tips the scales at a hefty 8,900 pounds 10 ounces! Cheering him on to these victories is his wife, Natalie, and their two children, Parker and Peyton.
