COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Keith Watkins of Douglasville, Ga., just caught the bass of a lifetime.
According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, he caught a 17-9 lunker on Monday, which also happens to be his birthday. Watkins was fishing on B.T. Brown Reservoir in Coweta County, which is an hour southwest of Atlanta.
According to Georgia DNR’s John Biagi, this is the heaviest bass caught and verified in Georgia since 1987!
