DUO North America adds Clark Reehm to Elite lineup

DUO North America, one of Japan’s most esteemed tackle manufacturers, announced that they have added two-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier Clark Reehm to their pro staff.

DUO North America, an arm of DUO Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s most esteemed tackle manufacturers, announced that they have added two-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier Clark Reehm to their pro staff. Reehm joins past Forrest Wood Cup champion Kevin Hawk as the company’s representation on the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament circuit.

Reehm is known for his power fishing style and adeptness with social media. He also runs an instructional program, The Elite Angler Academy, which aims to give advanced fishermen the edge they need to improve their overall game. This combination of attributes will allow him to communicate the DUO message to a wider audience.

“For my entire career, I’ve tried to align myself with companies that were in a growth mode,” Reehm said. “Obviously, DUO has incredible lures with unbelievable finishes, but the thing that excited me most was the chance to help with product development.”

“Clark will be instrumental in helping us to develop a range of products that are most suitable for the United States bass market,” said Martin Bakos, DUO’s International sales manager.

Reehm has already used the company’s products with great success, cashing checks in both Elite Series competition and the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Opens with the DUO Realis Minnow 80SP and the DUO Realis Pencil 110. He believes that both are category defining products. Moreover, they bring Japanese detail and quality to the U.S. market at a price point more affordable than that of the competition. Each of the DUO products is engineered to maximize casting distance and accuracy, action in the water, and hook up percentage.

The Realis series of lures are available through many tackle stores as well as a wide range of online retailers, such as Tackle Warehouse and LandBigFish. If your local store does not carry them, ask for them.
