The four teams consisted of Evers, and Elite Series angler's Brent Chapman and Cliff Crotchet, each paired with Purple Heart recipients. The fourth team was Mark Boling and his son Jared. Mark Boling was the winning bidder in an auction which raises money for Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation.

The night before the tournament the teams were taken to dinner in style in a private limousine.
