Bass fans can check out all the goodies and gadgets at the Classic Outdoor Expo presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The party started Friday at noon at the Shreveport Convention Center. The Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods is known for fan fun, from giveaways to contests, as well as the place for tackle companies to showcase the latest outdoor gear and equipment directly to the world’s most avid bass fishing fans.

Trapper Joe LaFont and Trigger Tommy Chauvin of the History channel’s Swamp People were scheduled for an appearance Friday in the Dick’s booth. Rebel is collecting more entries for its big boat giveaway in the Rebel 50th Anniversary Sweepstakes. Games are offered at several booths. So much is going on at the show, fans are advised to wear good shoes and plan to spend the day.

The Expo was open until 8 p.m. Friday.  Doors will open again Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
