Charlie Hartley is still waiting for a ride to trailer him back to Dayton. In the meantime, his agony has been extended.
"Did you see that guy catch that fish?" said Hartley, pointing to a man walking the bank in Chester Frost Park. "It was a good one. It was probably a 5-pounder. It hit a bubble gum floating worm and came clear out of the water."
Added Hartley, "I hate this sport."
Not really. Nobody loves bass fishing more than Hartley. But this day is testing his patience.
