I've always heard that term "firing up the bass." And I've experienced
it some where you catch a fish then several more in succession. It's
like the fish get excited and the whole school start reacting to your
bait.
We've witnessed that today several times. It seems like each time one
of our three amigos (KVD, Kriet and Russ Lane who are fishing
together) catch a bass, the other two catch fish in short order.
They're catches have come in flurries. Then the guys will go 30
minutes or more without a bite.
