The first hump we set down on has been a source of constant activity. Right now there are a half dozen boats moving about but no catching. Every few minutes an angler will move out and within no time another boat moves in.
We've seen jigs, top waters and crankbaits tossed in every direction. Our guess is these guys are waiting for the expected generation that will put current flowing down the river and fire up the fishing.
Meanwhile, as we idle away from this hump we see no less than a half dozen boats running this way.
At this juncture we see more boat running than fishing.
We just saw Ott DeFoe sit down on a ledge away from the crowd, so we are going to check out what's happening with one of the locals.
