Butcher culling up

Terry Butcher just culled a 14-inch keeper and replaced it with a 4-pounder. Not a bad switch.

His decision to stay put and not make the long  run and lock through into the Kerr pool was a wise move.

He's cut back on the rotation of baits. The clear front-runner is the spinnerbait, which yielded the big fish.

Now, he's rotating back and forth on this stretch of shoreline across from the marina. It's nothing special. Just an average riverbank with isolated cover.
