Dean Rojas got on the BASSTrakk scoreboard first this morning with a 2-pounder at 7:29 a.m. That’s significant only because it shows you how long it takes to make the run from the Sacramento River takeoff at Discovery Park to The Delta. And Rojas is well into The Delta.
It’s a 9-hour fishing day this week, with the 6:15 a.m. takeoffs and 3:20 p.m. first flight check-in times. The run down and back takes at least 2 1/2 hours out of that fishing time.
