This isn't your typical bass fishing tournament. As I was driving back to the hotel from the weigh-in site, I see a flash of a bass boat though the trees. I pull over to the Bayou Club, a fine establishment in Orange full of regulars enjoying a liquid lunch. They allow me out back on the deck, where I find Kota Kiriyama working hard. The owner says she's seen bass boats up and down the creek out back all week. I watch Kota for a little while and need to head back. Unfortunately I'm on the clock so I didn't get to stay longer.
