It seems like it's always something. We did have a short delay. But now everyone is on their way.
But from our perspective, what's worse is Chris Lane and Aaron Martens are in the middle of deciding whether to make their run or not.
Lane has stopped somewhere close to take off and may not even head this way. Same for Martens.
It may be a wise decision. The water here is up and muddy. And a lot of these spots may be blown out.
Unfortunately, we are already here and waiting. I'm waiting on Lane, Overstreet is waiting on Martens.
They may still come. But there's no way of knowing for certain which kind of leaves us dangling.
Our other option is to make the hour drive back and look for them there. During that time they could decide to head this way. Or we could stay and not see any of our leaders but see one of the others who will come, sack them up or stumble badly.
The decisions boggle the mind.
