After a short stint with John Murray we ran down river to find Alton Jones.
The mouth of the river has basically died for everyone. Scanlon has gone. Jones has gone. Murray has left and about a dozen walleye and perch boats have left.
Jones made the right move. He's working the river banks below some amazing river homes. And before we got here he boated a 4-pound plus smallmouth. He's finally on the board. It will be interesting to see if the river itself produces. It has been for Palaniuk and Elam. But they've been closer to the mouth of the river.
