It seems like we are in a dead period. It's been some time since we've seen anyone lay back on a fish, even a redear bream.
It may have been like this yesterday at this time. But I can't be for certain. We did a lot more running around.
I do know that yesterday afternoon the bite seemed to get better for virtually everyone.
Yesterday at this time, Tharp had his weight and was running new water. He's still one shy now.
We've slipped over to Chris Lane who has somewhere in the 14 to 15 pound range. Anywhere in there and he's in the Top 5 or 10. But we are still watching Tharp in the distance.
Both are ready for something to happen.
