Okay, people, let’s talk about BASSTrakk this morning. You may have noticed quite a bit of discrepancy between the leaderboard shown on BASSTrakk at the end of Day 1 and the final standings from Day 1.
That’s just the nature of the BASSTrakk beast.
It’s sort of like what I’m hoping I weigh before I step on the bathroom scale in the morning and what I actually weigh when the scale stops spinning. Some days you guess closer to reality than others.
When I’m blogging from the BASSTrakk numbers, I always hum this refrain, to the tune of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now”:
I’ve looked at BASSTrakk from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It’s BASSTrakk’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know BASSTrakk, at all
