Walker with a limit

David Walker made a bone-jarring run out to the main channel. The breeze is causing some chop on Lake G. In fact I thought we were going to lose Bowman at one point. David settled in about 20 yards off shore, throwing a crankbait, and quickly caught a 3-pounder. That gives him a limit with about 11 pounds. He's sitting in second on BASSTrakk at the moment.

I'm amazed at how huge the main channel is here on Guntersville. I grew up in Knoxville, Tenn., and thought I had a good understanding of the Tennessee River system. But here in Guntersville, the mighty Tennessee feels a lot like the Mississippi River in LaCrosse, Wis., where we've held tournaments several times recently.
