Aaron Martens is touching all details possible today in hopes of closing out a victory. That includes asking the boaters following him to turn off their electronics, reports Steve Bowman. And Martens has his electronics turned off as well.
"I think I've got this whole place memorized," Martens said. It's a big area that Martens is fishing around Bowley's Marina, but he probably does have it memorized, having spent the week here.
The tide isn't going to work in Martens favor today. He did most of his damage late yesterday. With the tide progressing an hour each day, it means that window when he caught most of his fish Saturday will have moved past when he'll have to leave to make check-in time.
