Elite Series pro David Williams is out here with his dad, Gerald, watching Edwin Evers fish, enjoying the drama just like the rest of the spectator boats. This week was his first time fishing Kentucky Lake.
"I didn't do well at all," he said. "Could never figure out ledge fishing."
So, rather than waiting for the Bassmasters TV show to come out, Williams is out again today on big, beautiful Kentucky Lake, casually watching various competitors. Williams is from North Carolina, but that didn't hold him back from having a terrific Lake Havasu tournament. He moved from 47th place on Day 3 to make the Top 12 and finish fifth.
