Billy McCaghren, who started the day in a tie for 11th place, is off to a hot start. The Mayflower, Ark., pro had four fish weighing 13-2 by 6:47 a.m. Not bad for a guy who admitted he wasn't confident he could catch even a small limit on Day 1. McCaghren said he begged a "little-fish waypoint" from one of his fellow Elite Series anglers on the eve of the tournament. "Luckily, I never had to go mess with them," McCaghren said. "But that's how worried I was."
