This is my first time at Kentucky Lake and Paris, Tennessee, despite growing up in the same state. Knoxville, where I was raised, is nearly 300 miles away. I had heard great things about this place, and it hasn't disappointed. I'm amazed at how big the lake is. I've learned it covers 160,000 acres, and from end to end is 184 miles long. This is a Tennessee River reservoir, controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority. TVA completed Kentucky Dam in 1944. I'm telling you, it's a beautiful place with lots of bass.
