Mike McClelland finally left his Kimberling City cove and moved up the lake to another cove that the wind is blowing directly into. He just caught his 4th keeper, but it didn't help him much. When asked how much weight he had, McClelland said, "Barely eight."
His mood just improved quickly when he caught his biggest fish of the day, a 2 1/2-pounder, on a Wiggle Wart.
"Hopefully, that will be my smallest one at the end of the day," he said.
So at 10:30, McClelland has a limit that will weigh between 10 and 11 pounds.
