James Overstreet and I have been following Kevin VanDam for over an hour now, and we've yet to see him add to his bag. He's caught just one short fish in that time. He's doing some running-and-gunning, which is nothing new for KVD. He's probably hit six or seven spots since we joined him.
VanDam has been throwing a jerkbait the entire time. He has caught some fish on a crankbait this week. But he said yesterday that he thought his best chance for catching a big fish is on a jerkbait. Obviously, he's in big fish mode now.
