Visiting with my camera boat driver, Ron Young, I'm getting an appreciation for the fishing in Bay de Noc.
Young is a walleye guy, as most folks in this world are. But it wasn't always that way.
"I used to fish for bass all the time," he said. "My son and I used to fish tournaments, the whole thing. But it seemed like the bass were too easy to catch. We started fishing for walleye."
