No one is happier than me right now over the fact that Carhartt became a B.A.S.S. sponsor two years ago. Our bassmaster.com crew was issued Carhartt rain suits for the 2012 Bassmaster Classic on the Red River.
Mine passed the weather test then, but it really has today. I'm toasty and, most importantly, dry. In this rain, when Overstreet cranks the big motor, it feels like needles are hitting any exposed skin. It's the true test of a rain suit – 70 mph rain drops.
If I was wet today, you wouldn't want to read the complaints coming from my candy ass. I'll probably still do some moaning and groaning in this weather, but it won't be because I'm wet.
