Gerald Swindle hasn't cranked his outboard yet, but he already has two fish in the boat, including one that might go 2 1/2 pounds. The other one just met the14-inch minimum length limit.
Swindle simply trolled into the back of the cove at Heritage Landing takeoff/weigh-in site and started fishing. He appears to be dragging some kind of soft plastic in about 6 or 8 feet of water.
