If you’re following the BASSTrakk Twitter feed of fish catches this morning, it’s painting an interesting picture of the early hours at Lake Okeechobee. In summation, it’s been dozens of 1- and 2-pounders with a rare lunker or two.
The result: An 8 a.m. leaderboard with Skylar Hamilton in first place with two bass weighing 13-0, John Murray in second place with a five-bass limit weighing 9-1, and Ott DeFoe in third with one bass weighing 7 pounds.
