This time yesterday the catch trends were about the same as today. According to the BASSTrakk log data about a dozen bass weighing at least 5 pounds were caught. As of now that number is about the same, although the big bass just caught by Dean Rojas appears to be near or better than the current biggie weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces.
On Day 1 the action heated up with the temperature. Today’s forecast calls for warmer temperatures, plus there is a northeasterly breeze across the lake. Both factors could make this afternoon better than Day 1.
