Tacoronte’s big move

It’s a game-changer when an angler breaks the code for catching the never-ending succession of 1-pounders getting caught thus far on Lake Okeechobee.

That is what Jesse Tacoronte has done this morning. Yesterday the Orlando pro landed in 76th place with 10 pounds 12 ounces. By the second hour of Day 2 he’s got 21-8 in the boat.

That covers the question I posed this morning when producing the videos.

One of the most replayed shots of this morning will show Tim Horton jacking a huge bass from the reeds. He landed it with a bit of drama that you can see on LIVE. There’s more evidence of proving the theory.

Can one or two big bites be game-changers in this tournament?

Clearly the answer is yes. Also confirming that is Chris Lane, whom I interviewed this morning for a BASSCam video. Watch it here
