Coincidence or not, when Timmy Horton wins he does it in a big way.
Of his four B.A.S.S. wins, three of those came by a winning margin of over 13 pounds.
The most famous win of them all happened at the 2007 Bassmaster Elite Series Champion’s Choice. On the final day at Lake Champlain, Horton came in early to preserve his winning catch. He returned to the dock so early, in fact, that he ordered a delivery pizza. As the story goes, and was seen on The Bassmasters, Horton is seen seated in his boat munching on slices of pizza prior to the weigh-in.
Pizza or not, Horton is on track to keep the streak going. In fact, he’s on track to near the 100-pound mark on Championship Sunday.
