The Elite Series weigh-ins today and Friday are at Maryland’s Smallwood State Park. With temperatures in the mid-90s and humidity above 50 percent the B.A.S.S. tournament staff is working on a “bass and angler preservation plan.” Which means they will do the weigh-in as quickly as possible. That will help get the fish back into the water, and the anglers into some cooler temps, speedy quick. Staying hydrated is the order of the day for the fish and the competitors.
