James Watson won the Open at Table Rock last year to make the Classic. He spent nine years in the Army and that’s reflected in his boat wrap.
“The design is based on a World War II Army bomber,” he told us. “And they always had a pinup girl on them.”
If you look close you’ll see an illustration of his girlfriend Sheri on the side of his boat. On the other side you’ll see his girlfriend’s girlfriend. On the front on the boat is what appears to be shrapnel damage.
“I’ve only caught one fish today,” he said. “That appears to be my limit.”
