Brett Hite and Kelly Jordon are having one heckuva shootout this morning. Hite caught a 7-pounder at 10:27 to give him 19 pounds for the day. Jordon answered with a 4-pounder at 10:28 to give him 18 pounds for the day.
Hite started the day in seventh place, so he’s now taken the lead. Jordon had a bigger hill to climb. He had only one fish yesterday, but it was a dandy, an 8-4 pounder. He started the day in 47th place, but it looks like he’ll be in contention at day’s end.
