Whether you like fishing jigs, spinnerbaits or buzzbaits, skirts get damaged throughout the course of a day. Also, you may want to change a skirt to get a different color or different length of skirt. I have an emergency skirt kit in my boat for these situations.
Here are a few of the things I carry in my emergency skirt kit:
- Skirt material (variety of colors)

- Two bobbins spooled with light color braid and dark color braid
- Pliers
- Feathers
