Things didn’t go exactly as Thomas Martens had hoped during Saturday’s six-man Bassmaster Classic fish-off on Lake Guntersville.
It was an intense and emotional weigh-in for three teams as members brought fish to the scales and saw which contender would claim the final Classic berth.
The fishing was tough during the first four-hour session of the Bassmaster Team Championship Classic Fish-Off on Lake Guntersville Saturday morning, but two anglers found enough bass to separate themselves from the rest of the field.
