As the Elite Series travels to Sacramento for its next stop, photographer James Overstreet catalogs a similar cross-country trip in 2006.

In 2006 James Overstreet drove to Sacramento, Calif., from his home in Arkansas. The trip stretched into 4,500 miles and 13 days. In true JO fashion, Overstreet grabbed his camera and took photos of many iconic American locations: The Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches National Park and Yosemite.
