Day 4: Marshals on Okeechobee

A late day cull for Williamson.

Bobby Lane’s adjustment continues to pay off as he culls again. He’s found an untouched group of new fish and is now hunting a giant.

Time to get the balance beam out! Jason catches his 7th keeper.

This fish has Dave Lefebre chasing him and hoping he stays on. It does and it is a good one!

Bobby Lane is proving the advantage Florida anglers have in tough conditions here. While the first 3 days beautiful weather let the field fish however they wanted, today is going to change that. An adjustment and Lane is off to the races culling with a 3.5 and a 3.25.

Here we go! Limit fish and a good one at that!

Dean Rojas just boat flipped his third fish of the day, as I was sending this in he set he hook on no. four. He’s up to around 6 pounds.

The fish are chewing for Dave Lefebre and he is culling now. No big ones yet, but he says they are here.

It was an incredible takeoff on Championship Sunday as the sun broke through the fog.

Bobby and a few other competitors navigated their way through the fog in a group together to stay safe. Today’s the coldest and windiest day so far could make things interesting as Okeechobee always does.
