I’m 65 now, play in the Paul Luke Band, just had a gig this past weekend, played up on the Woodstock stage in 1994, opened for the groups Black Oak Arkansas and New Riders of the Purple Sage, love music man, love music.”

“I’m the third shift labor and delivery nurse, brought hundreds of babies into the world, never gets old, never. Got three children of my own, when not taking care of kids though I love to fish, came in first place, won big bass once too. Work nights, fish days.”

“I’m a charter captain run the boat Bassin’ On The Bay, but I’m also a hunter/seller. I go buy the contents of storage sheds at auctions, buy anything to sell. How much you want for those shoes you’re wearing? I’ve sold 4,000 items on eBay, made $97,000. Just had a yard sale the other day made $3,000. My boys at home know not to get to fond of anything around the house, it’s all for sale. Give you $9.99 for your shoes, could sell them for 12 bucks plus shipping you know…”

(P.S.: I didn’t sell my shoes.)

“I’m a clinical pharmacist, work in a hospital, love to fish and scuba dive, but got grandchildren now. Just waiting for my granddaughter to get potty trained, told her as soon as she is potty trained I will take her out on my boat fishing. Every time I see her she tells me she is almost ready, that she’s really trying, can’t wait for it to happen and take her out fishing for the first time. Just can’t wait.”

“I’m a biologist, wildlife biologist, love to camp. Me and my wife we have a huge tent, can fit a queen bed in it, sleeps five or six. Love to go camping in Vermilion Bay in Ontario, Canada, we go to a very remote area, you have to fly in, it’s so peaceful. Best part is at night, no lights around you just unzip the tent and go outside and look up, it’s like the whole universe is just sitting there waiting for you to look up, amazing, just stand there staring at the stars with my wife.”

“I’m a cyber security specialist, love to dive, been pretty much under the water from Staten Island to the Outer Banks. The greatest experience being under the waves, the rocking motion, the weightlessness, so peaceful, do a lot of diving off-shore around the Nazi U-boat wrecks off the coast of North Carolina, amazing to see their submarine wrecks, just happy to be able to be underwater. I’m a cancer survivor, been eight years now, docs told me I had a 35 percent chance of survival, they took out 51 lymph nodes, huge scar down my neck, but I’m here, I’m diving, I’m fishing, loving life, loving life.”
