<p> Ben Tawney represented Slippery Rock University by himself after his teammate had to withdraw before the tournament. He finished 12th with 19-11.</p>

<p> Michael Frease of Virginia Tech weighed in alone because his partner, Nick Depkiewicz, was sitting with the team’s broken down boat on the other end of the lake. Frease freely admitted that Depkiewicz caught this fish. Freast and Depkiewicz finished 17th with 15-3.</p>
