Fans share biggest first bass of 2018

Aaston Feagin caught this 7 pound, 12 ounce bass at Dunn’s Creek in Palatka, FL, on a red June bug trick worm.

Ace Thomas caught this 4 pound, 6 ounce bass from Lake Conroe in Texas. He used a T-rigged Big Bites stick bait, watermelon flake w/ pegged 3/16 oz lead weight. “These docks are right next to the creek drop-off in Stow-A-Way marina. I was catching a ton of small bass when this guy made a debut. Was pitching into the dock slips and letting it fall, rinse repeat,” Thomas wrote.

Austin Cromer caught this 7-8 on a Witch Doctor Tackle tungsten jig at Lake Marion in South Carolina.

Blake Wenthe wrote, “Not very big but first bass of the year! Chisago Lake, Chisago City, Minnesota. Caught with a sucker minnow on a tip-up.”
