Randy Lamanche of New York, who is fishing with Embid today, has a lot of work to do today. He had a solid 20 pounds on Day 1 but finished with only 13 yesterday.

Brownridge is in high spirits today with a nearly 6-pound lead and a strong plan. He really wants to make it to the 2014 Old Milwaukee B.A.S.S. Nation Championship. He’s good friends with Dave Mercer, emcee of the event, and he says, “I want to go there so I can bust his chops!”

“This one’s for New York,” said Lamanche. He’s hoping for better today after he figured out something later in the afternoon on Day 2. “This is one of the best fisheries in the country. I’m glad everybody’s getting to see what’s in the St. Lawrence.”
