	Proper fish care is the first, and last, thing on the agenda. Ice was placed in the holding tanks to keep the water temperature down which will increase survival rates. It’s time consuming and expensive, but it’s necessary for our sport to survive.</p>

	Jared Knuth from Nebraska has good reason to smile. These three bass were part of a five fish bag that put him in second place. He currently stands 10 ounces behind the leader, Dale Hightower (Oklahoma).</p>
