B.A.S.S. pros chase bucks

In the off season many Elites like to hunt something a little bigger than a bass.

I know sometimes you guys like to see Elite Anglers and their deer pics. Here’s my 2012 Harvest from last week.

The Buck was official tagged as a 16 pointer. A main frame 8-point, with 8 extra points and a broken drop tine not counted. As a straight 8, the buck green scored 167 3/8 on the Boone and Crockett Scale.. It had a 19 1/8 inside spread, a 28 3/8 longest main beam and a longest tine of 12 7/8 inches. The greatest circumference at the base was 9 3/8 inches!!!. That’s Fosters Lager Beer Can Round!

A Ohio Backyard kill, basically corn and soybean fields, close to my house. I was in a self climber tree stand in a old fence row…Been after him for 2 seasons…Nicknamed the Ghost Buck, because he would just appear and disappear in places you can’t around these farms. I was totally dedicated to harvesting him and him alone. Had logged well over one hundred hours in the woods last two seasons after this beast. Wednesday Nov 21 Around 4:20pm Crossbow Kill

He’s the biggest. Can’t wait to get him officially scored, I’m hoping he pushes over 170 class after all adds and deducts.
