Simms adds Palaniuk to Pro staff

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Emphasizing a deep commitment to their expanded product line, Simms Fishing Products is proud to announce the addition of professional bass angler Brandon Palaniuk to the Simms Pro Tournament Angler Staff.

Palaniuk, 25, is a product of Rathdrum, Idaho. He joined the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society’s Bassmaster Elite Series in 2011 after qualifying through B.A.S.S. Nation. Since his arrival on the world’s premier bass fishing tour, he has finished in the money in 14 of 21 tournaments, including a victory at the TroKar Quest on Arkansas’ Bull Shoals Lake and a second-place finish on Lake Michigan last year. This month, he’ll fish in his third straight Bassmaster Classic on Grand Lake in Tulsa, Okla.

“Clearly, we are intrigued by Brandon being one of the rising stars on the B.A.S.S. Simms launched its inaugural Pro Tournament Angler Staff in 2011 with a team of professional bass anglers that included Gary Klein, Shaw Grigsby, Aaron Martens, Ish Monroe, Kelly Jordon and Brent Ehrler. That crew was instrumental in assisting Simms develop and refine its award-winning Pro Dry™ GORE-TEX® Parka, Bibs and Pants. Palaniuk is Simms’ first pro from the Rocky Mountain Region.

For 2013, Simms is bringing the Contender series of GORE-TEX® outerwear to consumers, along with footwear, sportswear and other outerwear designed to keep bass, walleye and saltwater anglers warm, dry and on the water longer.
