Roy partners with X-Stand Treestands

Bradley Roy has joined the pro staff of X-Stand Treestands.

WINCHESTER, Va. — X-Stand Treestands has officially announced its partnership with Bassmaster Elite Series pro Bradley Roy. Roy’s boat wrap and jersey feature X-Stand, and he has joined the company's Elite pro staff.

While there are two Elite Series events remaining in the 2013 schedule, Roy, like many fishermen, is already starting to hang tree stands in preparation for the 2013 hunting season.

“I was introduced to X-Stand last November while at Whitetail Heaven Outfitters filming an episode of Destination Whitetail for Sportsman Channel," said Roy. "From the moment I picked up an X-Stand, I knew it would be the last brand of tree stand I would ever want to use. At less than 12 pounds, the two-piece climbing stand is the world’s lightest tree stand. The ladder stand weighs just 45 pounds! There is nothing like this out there. I am honored to introduce X-Stand to my fellow fishermen and hunters.”

Roy’s episode of Destination Whitetail will air in the third quarter on Sportsman Channel. He works as a guide at Whitetail Heaven Outfitters during the fishing off-season.

Based in Winchester, Va., X-Stand Treestands manufactures lightweight aluminum climbing stands, tree sticks, ladder stands, hunting chairs and the X-Blind – all of which are the lightest in their categories.

“Safety and functionality are the two key aspects we have in mind in all of our designs,” said Tevis McCauley, president of X-Stand. “Because our products are the world's lightest by combining T6 aircraft aluminum and superior design, we believe these stands are the future of tree stands.”
